Professional Services

TS-BHS offers individual clinical supervision to license eligible social workers, professional counselors, marriage & family therapists to prepare for licensure and professional development. Clinical supervision is a time to enhance your professional growth and skills, while developing a trusting relationship between you (supervisee) and your supervisor.  NASW defines "supervision as a relationship in which the supervisor is responsible for providing direction to the supervisee...both parties are responsible for meeting goals and carrying out defined roles. The relationship is collaborative in nature and the supervisor provides the supervisee with mirroring through the parallel process". These services are available as face-to-face or virtually to license eligible clinicians in CA, GA, & TN.

Individual clinical supervision includes 1-2 clinicians (maximum) and the following three options are available  (per state & discipline requirements):

Group clinical supervision is the regular meeting of a group of supervisees (a) with a designated supervisor, (b) to monitor the quality of their work, and (c) to further their understanding of themselves as clinicians and the clients with whom they work, and of services delivery in general".  The supervisees are aided in achieving these goals by their supervisor and by the feedback from, and interactions with, each other (Bernard & Goodyear, 2009). These services are available as face-to-face or virtually to license eligible clinicians in CA, GA, & TN.
